In addition to partnering with the Power Workers’ Union in all our locations, OPG partners with the Building Trades Unions to hire skilled trades, including electricians, boilermakers, and millwrights.
Our operations also depend heavily on skilled tradespeople, with about 50% of our current workforce in the skilled trades. Most commonly, we look for engineers who have completed their studies in mechanical, electrical, computer or civil engineering.
